OUR STORY
Our parents were born and raised in Cuba and unfortunately had to flee their beautiful homeland in 1960 when Castro’s communist regime came into power. They instilled in us their love for their Cuban culture and all that it encompassed--food, music, history, family.
As cousins, we grew up together in Miami, Florida enjoying our Cuban heritage. Destiny brought us all to North Carolina along with our desire to share this delicious and deeply loved cuisine with you. We are using family recipes that have been passed down through many generations.
The Café is more than a business to us--it is a tribute to our family members that cherished their Cuban culture and taught us what family & love is all about.

Cousins Cuban Cafe serves authentic Cuban cuisine and coffee to the Black Mountain community and all those that visit our beautiful town. We welcome all to experience a taste of what Cuban culture is all about--flavorful dishes, strong coffee, great conversations and where friends become part of our family. Bienvendios!
